Welcome parents and students! Logging into Canvas can feel frustrating when you can’t find the right login page. Not to worry, this guide will walk you through the process to access your PFISD Canvas account.
For Students
Your school has provided you with a username and temporary password to log into Canvas. Follow these simple steps:
- Go to the login page: https://pfisd.instructure.com
- Enter your Username – this is usually based on your school email/ID
- Enter the Password you’ve been given
- Click Log In
You should now have access to all your classes and course materials! If you have any trouble with your credentials, talk to your teacher.
Canvas PFISD login For Parents
Parents can also view their child’s Canvas dashboard once an account is created. Here is how to sign up:
- Visit https://pfisd.instructure.com/login/canvas
- Click “Parent of a Canvas User?”
- Click the blue “Create an Account” button
- Enter your Name, Email, create a Password
- Type your child’s Pairing Code – ask your child to share this from their Canvas account settings
- Check the box to agree to Terms of Use
- Click Start Participating
You will receive a username and password for logging in as a Canvas parent. Now you can stay updated on coursework, grades, and your child’s progress!
Trouble Signing In?
If you have credentials but still can’t access your Canvas account, double check that you are using your full Gmail address in the username field. Many Canvas districts now utilize Gmail/Google sign-in.
