- Open the Google Play Store on your Android TV
- Search for “NBA” and select the official app
- Click Install
- Open the NBA app after it downloads
- Go to Settings > TV Provider to view activation steps
- An activation code will display on your TV screen
- Take note of this unique code
- On your phone or computer, visit nba.com/activate
- Enter the code and pick your TV provider
- Sign in with provider credentials to complete activation

Activate NBA on Amazon Fire TV via nba.com/tve
Here are the steps to take for Fire TV activation:
- Using your Fire TV, open the Amazon Appstore
- Search for the “NBA” app
- Select Get to install the app
- Launch the NBA app after it downloads
- Follow the prompts to sign in or activate your subscription
- If activating through your TV provider, a code will display on screen
- Note down this code then visit nba.com/activate on another device
- Enter the code and pick your TV provider
