Step 1: Navigate to the Activation Page at ooma.com/activate
First things first – launch your internet browser and head to ooma.com/activate. This is where the magic happens.
You’ll arrive at a page entitled “Activate Your Ooma Telo.” This walkthrough applies whether you purchased a Telo, Base Station, or another Ooma hardware device.
Step 2: Enter Your Activation Code at ooma.com/activate
Now it’s time to grab that 7-character activation code from the bottom of your Ooma phone. Enter it in the Activation Code field and click Next.
Note: If you purchased your device used or refurbished, the previous owner’s code may still be active. You can override it by using the Reset Code instead.
Step 3: Confirm Your Phone Number
On the next page, confirm or enter the phone number you’d like to assign to your Ooma device. Click Next when finished.
Step 4: Enter Your Billing/Contact Information
Fill out your name, address, email, and payment details on the next couple of pages. Make sure everything is accurate – this is what enables Ooma provide service to your home! Once everything looks good, click Next to advance.
Step 5: Complete Activation
Almost there! Follow any remaining on-screen prompts to complete activation. Eventually you’ll reach the Congratulations! page.
