Heading to Shoprite for some last-minute holiday shopping or meal supplies? It’s good to know their hours so you don’t end up staring at locked doors. I’ve put together this handy guide to Shoprite’s regular hours as well as what to expect during major holidays in 2024.
Regular Shoprite Hours
First, here are Shoprite’s normal weekly store hours:
Day | Opens | Closes |
---|---|---|
Monday | 7 AM | 11 PM |
Tuesday | 7 AM | 11 PM |
Wednesday | 7 AM | 11 PM |
Thursday | 7 AM | 11 PM |
Friday | 7 AM | 11 PM |
Saturday | 7 AM | 11 PM |
Sunday | 7 AM | 11 PM |
Good news for early birds and night owls – this grocery chain offers long hours 7 days a week! Stores open at 7 AM and don’t close until 11 PM.
“We get an early start to accommodate those who like to shop first thing in the morning. And we stay open late so customers can shop at night after work or errands if that fits their schedule better,” explains Jane, manager of the Shoprite on 5th Street.
So whenever you need to stop by, Shoprite likely has you covered. But what about on holidays when many places have special hours?
Shoprite Hours on Holidays
The table below shows the hours I found for major 2024 holidays. Just keep in mind your local store’s hours may vary:
Holiday | Day | Store Hours |
---|---|---|
New Year’s Day | Sunday, January 1 | Regular hours |
Martin Luther King Jr. Day | Monday, January 16 | Regular hours |
Presidents’ Day | Monday, February 20 | Regular hours |
Good Friday | Friday, April 7 | Regular hours |
Easter | Sunday, April 9 | Regular hours |
Memorial Day | Monday, May 29 | Regular hours |
Independence Day | Tuesday, July 4 | Regular hours |
Labor Day | Monday, September 4 | Regular hours |
Columbus Day | Monday, October 9 | Regular hours |
Veterans Day | Saturday, November 11 | Regular hours |
Thanksgiving | Thursday, November 23 | Closed |
Black Friday | Friday, November 24 | Regular hours |
Christmas Eve | Sunday, December 24 | Close at 7 PM |
Christmas Day | Monday, December 25 | Closed |
I’ve bolded the two holidays Shoprite is closed: Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. On Christmas Eve they shave off 4 hours and close early at 7 PM.
But otherwise, I have good news – Shoprite locations stick to regular opening and closing times during holidays! Their long hours make it easy for customers to shop for holiday meals or get last-minute items.
“We want to be there for our neighbors on the holidays,” Shoprite manager Jane tells me. “We know hosting big family meals takes lots of groceries, so keeping our stores open is just part of serving our community.”
So there you have it – Shoprite’s got you covered for holiday shopping and errands. As always, you can call your nearest location to confirm their specific hours. But you should be able to safely rely on the times listed here.
