Getting your first payroll card can be confusing. “How do I activate it?” “Where do I go to activate it?” No worries, I’ll walk you through the whole process step-by-step.
Introducing Comdata Payroll Cards
Comdata issues payroll cards and other payment cards on behalf of employers. You may have received a Comdata payroll MasterCard from your employer.
Here’s a quick overview:
- Comdata acquired SOLE Financial, the former issuer of SOLE paycards
- They provide various card programs to enable direct wage access
- The Comdata payroll card works just like any other MasterCard
Before you can use the card, you need to activate it. Here’s how:
Activate Your Comdata Payroll Card Online via solepaycard.com/activate
Activating online is fast and easy:
- Go to comdata.com
- Click on Manage under i-Connect Data
- Select Card Maintenance
- Click on Search
- Search for your card
- Choose Active from the Status menu
Once the card shows as Active, congratulations! Your Comdata payroll card is now ready to use.
Activate By Phone
If you can’t access the Comdata website, no problem! You can still activate your card by calling 1-888-265-8228. The automated system will guide you through the steps.
