What Devices Support Watch TCM
The Watch TCM app is available on a variety of streaming platforms:
- Roku
- Amazon Fire TV
- Apple TV
- Android TV
- iOS and Android mobile devices
As long as you’ve got one of those, you’re good to go.
Note: You’ll need an active cable or satellite TV subscription for access. More details on that later.
How to Install and Activate
The steps to get Watch TCM set up are simple. But they vary a bit depending on your device.
On Roku
- From the home screen, go to Streaming Channels
- Select Search
- Type in “Watch TCM”
- Choose the Watch TCM app
- Select Add Channel to install
- Launch the app when installed
- Note down the activation code on your TV
- On another device, visit tcm.com/activate
- Enter the code and select your TV provider to activate
On Fire TV
Follow similar steps to:
- Search for Watch TCM in the store
- Install the app
- Launch it and note down the code
- Use tcm.com/activate to enter the code and activate
Activate TCM on Apple TV at tcm.com/activate
You know the drill now!
- Find the app in the App Store
- Download and open it
- Get the activation code from your TV
- Head to tcm.com/activate on another device
- Enter code and log in with your TV provider

Logging In with Your TV Provider
The final part of the activation process requires signing in through your cable or streaming TV subscription.
When prompted:
- Select your TV provider from the list
- Enter your username and password

Once logged in, the Watch TCM app will be linked to your account.
Heads up: Make sure your TV provider has a partnership deal with Turner Classic Movies. Not all of them do currently.
